Kevin Korsyn

Kevin Korsyn, who is Professor of Music Theory at the University of Michigan, received a publication award from the Society for Music Theory for his article “Schenker and Kantian Epistemology” and the Distinguished Faculty Award from the Michigan Association of Governing Boards, and is a Senior Fellow in the University of Michigan Society of Fellows. His publications include Decentering Music: A Critique of Contemporary Musical Research (Oxford University Press, 2003), as well as many articles. He is also a composer and pianist.
